Yael stone, a native of New York City-based Australian resident, played Lorna the character of Morello Orange Is the New Black in 2013. Yael is a graduate of NIDA. Yael had the good fortune to be able to collaborate with the best storytellers in Australia. She has worked behind-the-scenes in film, television as well as theatre. Yael's professional career is thriving and thriving in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael relocated to New York City after the Brooklyn Academy of Music's staging of the play was an enormous success. Yael is the co-founder The Cannery. The Cannery. It is based in Bushwick Brooklyn and is based from there to support the creative process, and to create new writing.
